Outcome:
Increase of footfalls in ICTCs and also during the HIV-testing camps conducted along with NHM’s 104.
Uncovered HRGs and general population in hard to reach areas were covered, and many uncovered hotspots were identified during the campaign.
As the stakeholders were sensitized, stigma and discrimination against PLHIVs were reduced. No new case of stigma & discrimination reported from the district till date
Overall awareness level of the population about HIV/AIDS, STI/RTI, condom use and social protection schemes for PLHIVs were raised and misconceptions regarding HIV/AIDS were also cleared during the camps.
