Under 'Susrusha' scheme, an amount of Rs. 1.00 Lakh is given as financial assistance to people who have undergone Kidney transplantation after 1st April 2010. The scheme launched on 23rdAugust 2010. Dr. Anup Kr. Barman, Director of Medical Education, Assam is the Nodal Officer for the Scheme.
Any person who is a resident of Assam and annual income of the person or his family does not exceed 3.00 lakh is eligible under the Scheme.
