The burn unit with 12 beds was stated in August 2013 under Programme for Prevention & Management of Burn Injuries (NPMBI) during the 11th Five-Year Plan.
Civil Hospital, Dhubri
Construction of six-bedded burn unit for prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of burn injury patients under Programme for Prevention & Management of Burn Injuries (NPMBI) with pilot project in Assam was sanctioned by Government of India. The construction of burn unit is completed and is already functioning.
BP Civil Hospital, Nagaon
Construction of six-bedded burn unit for prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of burn injury patients under Programme for Prevention & Management of Burn Injuries (NPMBI) with pilot project in Assam was sanctioned by Government of India. The construction of burn unit is complete. The burn unit will be handed over in a short time so that the process of procurement of equipment and ALS Ambulance and and recruitment of manpower can be initiated.
